ViralFX™ was originally developed to address the practical biosecurity requirements of

Having identified correctly that viruses would become the greatest threat to livestock health, the ViralFX™ formulation utilised the powerful capabilities of peroxygen-based chemistry to provide a new broad spectrum of efficacy with specific focus against viral disease-causing pathogens.

ViralFX™ 1% solutions are stable for 7 days but should be discarded when the pink colour fades.
Actual solution life will vary depending upon its exposure to organics and UV light.
Why is ViralFX™ only available as a pink powder?
Ideally, we would like to have ViralFX™ available as a powder for use on spillages and as a liquid for immediate use when required. This, however, is not possible as the solution is only stable for a matter of 7 days.
What at first appears to be a disadvantage with ViralFX™ is, in fact, a major advantage:
a) Because it is a powder ViralFX™ takes up far less storage space than costly liquid disinfectants.
b) Transportation costs are considerably less for a concentrated powder than a concentrated or already diluted disinfectant. When people buy, for example, 2% activated glutaraldehyde they are paying for the transportation and storage of a product which is 98% water. This fact is well worth pointing out to your purchasing officers.
